My jewellery journey began with a demonstration of Lost Wax casting – fire and alchemy, I was hooked.
I found my basic skills in 3 years at The School of Jewellery and Silversmithing, Hockley in the heart of the jewellery quarter in Birmingham, moving on to London to work in the studio of Andrew Grima HRH, that was just the begining.
Since then I have been making my own style of jewellery inspired by the colours of the land sea and sky of Pembrokeshire. I love combining a variety of metals and texture finishing pieces with a satin or matt ‘polish’ that allows the metals to be seen in all their glory and really ‘shine’.
I’m an avid collector of anything wild that catches my eye, be it a texture, pod, seed, unfurling leaf, lichens or foundling along the shoreline.
My current love affair is with stones from the seashore or nearby estuary featuring rainbow moonstones, do have a look, I hope you enjoy browsing through or even feel moved to own a piece.
